Amina Michele began her career in corporate and charity event planning in 2002. She fell in love with weddings two years later and since has built one of the most sought after wedding planning companies in the West. Some Like It Classic – Wedding Design was founded in 2006, and in only it’s first year of business was awarded a total of 4 different industry awards, and since  has been awarded several awards year after year and been featured in every major wedding publication and blog. With her strong love for the classics, she tailored the company to deliver the most classic and timeless weddings in the industry.

 

Why do you love weddings and events?  I love creating, designing and I especially love seeing my client’s face when she first walks into her wedding reception and sees everything we planned come to life; that is a proud moment for me always.

 

What is your favorite dessert?   I only do weddings for the wedding cake – kidding. However, I wouldn’t turn you down if you wanted someone to go to your cake tasting with you.

 

Do you collect anything?   Yes… shoes. Every girl should own fabulous shoes.

 

What is your favorite activity?  I love running the business side of our company as well as  writing for different blogs and sharing new information I learn everyday with our couples. We are constantly trying to innovate our company – make it bigger and better for our client’s so they have a memorable planning experience.

 

What makes your company the best? We have a intense training process we all go thru every year and a very systemized way of handling our weddings. This make the process very calming for the client and they have a sense of not feeling rushed to get things done all in the beginning. They can actually enjoy being the bride.
